Gary Robert Powell passed away March 30, 2023 at the age of 85. Beloved husband of the late Jackie Powell and the late Phyllis Dancer-Powell. Uncle of Eric (Gina) Powell, and Kristen (Mike) Hellrung. Brother of Gladys (the late Larry) Powell, and Regina Pionk. Preceded in death by his parents Frank and Alice Powell. Great Uncle of Isabella, Shawn, Joel, and Jenna. Stepfather of Dale (Kim) Dancer, and Cindie Dancer. Step Grandfather of Amanda (James) Block, Emily Gregory, and Brian (Courtney) Dancer. Step Great Grandfather of Addison, Justin, Abigail, Chloe, and Benjamin.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 4, 2023 from 3:00-7:00pm and the Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, April 5, 2023 at 11:00am located at Howe-Peterson Funeral Home Taylor Location 9800 Telegraph Rd Taylor, MI 48180. Interment will be at Michigan Memorial Park Cemetery in Flat Rock, MI.
