Gary Grey Toney, 79, passed away on September 6, 2019.

Beloved husband of the Late Julia Fay Toney, Precious father of Lori (Ken) Haneline, Kathy (Steve) Werns, and Scott (Rebecca) Toney. Dearest Grandfather of Kirk, Evan, Caitlyn, Nate, Nina, Peter, Dylan, Alec and Andrew. Loving Great-grandfather of Anna. He was the youngest of 15 children born to Alden and Cassie Toney in Wayne, West Virginia. He is preceded in death by brothers Clyde, Bert, Alden, Don, Carl, Bob and Lynn and sisters Eiiza Asbury, Erma Toney, Olive Booth, Ilene Brumfield and Mae Crockett. He is survived by brothers Kyer Toney and Jim Toney.

One of the great joys of his life was ministering to others by singing Southern Gospel Music with his brothers in The Toney Brothers Quartet in the 1960s and 70's. He also was the song leader in adult Sunday School classes for many years and an active member of his church choir.

Visitation will be Monday, September 9, 2019, 1:00pm until 9:00pm at the Taylor Chapel of Howe-Peterson Funeral Home, 9800 Telegraph Rd.
Funeral Services will be Tuesday, September 10, at 11:00am also at the funeral home.
