November 15, 1920 – May 25 ^th , 2019

George I. Boyle Sr. of Dearborn, Michigan passed away on May 25 ^th peacefully surrounded by his children.  George was preceded in death by wife Kathleen of 53 years, siblings Gordon, Jack, Ruth Russel and Annabel Busher.   Survived by his Children George I. Boyle, Jr. (Christine), Patrick and Denise Folbre (Frank).  Proud Grandfather of Daniel Boyle (Elena) and Andrew Boyle (Marie). Great Grandfather of Leo, Gabriella and soon to arrive Claire.

George was a veteran of World War II and served in the US Marine Corps in the South Pacific.  After he left the Marine Corps George started his career of 30 years with Ford Motor Company as a buyer in the Purchasing Department.  George met his future bride, Kathleen Francis Decker, when working at Ford and they married December 1 ^st , 1956.  They purchased their first home in Dearborn and continued their life together with their 3 children.

George was a very dedicated husband and loving father.  His greatest pleasures were to spend time with his family, watch sports, read a good book, fishing and spending time in Northern Michigan.

Visitation on Tuesday from 6:00PM to 8:00PM and Wednesday from 3:00PM to 9:00PM at the Deraborn Chapel of Howe-Peterson Funeral Homes, 22546 Michigan Ave.

Funeral mass will be on Thursday at 10:00AM (instate 9:30AM) at Divine Child Catholic Church.
