George Elliot Sanders, 81, of Taylor, Michigan, passed away on August 14, 2025. He was born on August 27, 1943, in West Virginia.

George was the devoted husband of Susan for 57 years, a loving father to Stephanie and the late John, and a proud grandfather to his "princess," Skyler.

He attended Lincoln Park High School. He also served his country as a veteran of the U.S. Army, stationed in Korea. George worked for many years as a carpenter, a trade he took pride in.

A quiet man, George valued time with his family above all else. His greatest happiness came from being with the people he loved, especially Skyler.

He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
