STEVENS, George R.J. June 19, 2013, age 92 Loving son of the late Myron A. Stevens and Catherine Stevens (nee Corrigan). Beloved husband of the late Genevieve. Loving father of Sally Jankowski (Gary) and the late Mary Catherine Haag (Joseph). Dearest grandfather of Erin Haag. George was a life long Dearborn resident. Retired after 37 years of service with Michigan Bell Telephone Company. Dutifully served in the U.S. Army during WWII. Longtime volunteer at Oakwood Hospital. George resided at Oakwood Commons and served as V.P. of O.C.R.A. George enjoyed photography, woodworking and spending time operating his ham radio, under the call letters W8MAC. Member of American Radio Relay League, The Mayflower Society and the Knights of Columbus. Memorial may be made to Furry Friends, P.O. Box 1034; Brighton, MI 48116.
