George
Warner
March 28, 1941 – March 10, 2021
George Warner passed away on March 10th, 2021 at the age of 79.
Beloved husband of the late Amy.
Loving father of Tim (Debbie), Kim, Corey and Carey (Adreana).
Dear grandfather of Bobby, Heather, Bethany, Ethan and Luciana.
Proud great grandfather of Brenner and Skyler.
He also leaves behind his siblings, David, Jerry Doug, Bruce and Jeannette.
George was a man of many skills and a hard worker. He had many jobs throughout his life including, but not limited to, personal security guard, carpenter and grocery store worker. Sometimes more than one of these at a time. His most important job was being a mentor to his 4 children. His hard work ethics were instilled in his children from a very early age. He wanted to make sure that they had the life skills to take care of themselves and not to rely on others to solve their problems.
George was a very dedicated Scout Leader. His true passion was the outdoors and he loved to share this with others. Through his time spent camping and hiking, he developed many survival skills that he taught to his children and his scouts.
George never spent a weekend at home. There was never an opportunity passed up to go camping. He loved going up north, whether it was a relaxing weekend around a camp fire or a taxing one navigating the harsh terrain of Isle Royal. Either way, he was in his glory.
His life experiences provided him the knowledge and wisdom that could lead him to be stubborn at times. His intentions were always in your best interest though and his love for you was never questioned.
There were so many people who learned from George who will never forget what they've been taught. His teachings will be passed down for many generations to come. There aren't many people in this world that you can compare to George. He was definitely one of a kind and will be missed.
