George J. Yacup 
  March 16, 1939 - March 10, 2016

A gentle man and gentleman completed his journey on earth. He will be missed by all that shared in his elegance, wit, keen intellect, kindness, and service to man.


George taught English at Grosse Pointe High South and was renowned for the course he created in honor of the Bard, William Shakespeare.


A private service for the immediate family was held. Those of you that wish to honor George are asked to make contributions to The Hilberry Fellowship at Wayne State University. Contributions can be mailed to:
