Gerald "Chick" Churchvara passed away on Jan. 28, 2024 at the age of 85.

Beloved husband of the late Barbara. Loving father of Robyn (Andy) Ashburn and Julie (Edward) Jones. Proud Grandpa of Alec (Marissa), Abbey (Ian), Lauren, Nicklaus, and Matthew. Dear brother of Diane and the late Barbara. Dear companion of Genny. He is also survived by his two cats, Slurpee and Mango.

Visitation at the Dearborn Chapel of Howe-Peterson Funeral Home on Wednesday, Jan. 31, 1-8pm. Service at First United Methodist Church of Dearborn on Thursday, Feb. 1 at 10:30am. Gathering at the church begins at 9:30am. Interment at St. Hedwig Cemetery.
