Gerald "Jerry" Dolan passed away August 13, 2021. Age 78. Loving father of Kevin (Katie) and Kelly. Proud Papa of Alyssa, Blake, Abigail and Alex. He also leaves behind Judy Dolan, and siblings Janet (Stenger) and Tom.

Jerry was a fun-loving person with a carefree outlook on life. He earned degrees from Notre Dame and Eastern Michigan University and dedicated more than 30 years to students of Southfield Public Schools as a middle-school and high-school teacher.

After he retired, he began visiting Florida during the winter months, eventually buying a place in Bradenton where he enjoyed golfing and visiting his friends.

Jerry's easy-going demeanor awarded him many friends throughout his life. He will be dearly missed by friends and family.

Donations in Jerry's name can be made to the Alzheimer's Association of Michigan .

Memorial gathering at the Dearborn Chapel of Howe-Peterson Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 24, 3-8pm. Memorial Mass at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Wednesday, August 25, 11:00am.
