LATHAM, Gerald R. Born May 5, 1928, died Sunday, January 11, 2009 after a hard fought battle with kidney cancer. He is survived by Catherine, his beloved wife of 59 years; children Karen Tom Milligan and Craig Lynne Latham. He also leaves three grandchildren, Jeff Kelly Milligan, Elizabeth Latham and Scott Latham, as well as brother, Paul Lucy Latham. Gerald was a U.S. Army Veteran and Ford retiree. He was an avid sportsman who particularly enjoyed tennis, hockey and white water rafting. Funeral Service Wednesday 11 am at the Dearborn Chapel of the Howe-Peterson Funeral Home, 22546 Michigan Ave. Visitation was Monday 5:30-9 pm and Tuesday 1-9 pm.
