Gerald Ray Linderman

Gerald Ray Linderman, age 81, of Romulus, Michigan, passed away on October 18, 2023, after a brief illness.

Gerald was born in Detroit, Michigan on May 23, 1942, the son of Earl and Mildred (Riggs) Linderman, who have preceded him in death.

He was raised in Belleville Michigan. Gerald was an athlete; he broke many high school records in baseball and basketball.

He began his bachelor's degree on a partial sports scholarship to Western Michigan University. However, an injury to his back and shoulder could not be resolved. He switched to accounting, then transferred to Cleary University for further schooling.

He had several jobs over the years, including working for the railroad, at a steel mill, training harness horses, and retiring from an accounting job. In his free time, he enjoyed watching and playing sports. In his later years, Gerald was an avid golfer.

Gerald is survived by his brother, Ronald (Sharon) Linderman.
