Gerald A. Majchszak passed away on June 6, 2025 at the age of 57.
Born in Garden City Michigan, Gerald was the son of the late Joseph and Veronica Majchszak. He served his country with honor in the United States Navy, carrying the values of discipline, loyalty, and quiet strength with him throughout his life.
Jerry was a devoted Ohio State Buckeye's fan and found joy and peace in two of his favorite pastimes: fishing and golf. Whether out on a calm lake with a fishing pole in hand or walking the fairway on a sunny morning, Gerald felt most at home in nature, appreciating the patience and focus each activity required.
Gerald is survived by his brothers Michael and Joseph, nieces and nephews Brendon, Carolyn, Ronald, Joseph, Sarah and Krissy and Great nieces and nephews Landon, Grayson and Noah. He is preceded in death by his sisters, Mary Pitock and Victoria Majchszak, and his parents, Joseph and Veronica Majchszak.
A Memorial Gathering will be Friday, June 13, from 1:00-2:30 p.m. with a Celebration of Life at 2:30pm. All services will be at the Taylor location of Howe-Peterson Funeral Home and Cremation Services 9800 Telegraph Rd. Taylor, MI 48180.
