Gerald, known as Jerry to many, had a variety of jobs.

One of Jerry's first jobs was at Great Lakes Steel. From there he worked at Chrysler Stamping Plant in Trenton.

He was a mailman with Wyandotte Post Office for about 5 years.

Gerald owned a restaurant with Peggy called 'The Teddybear,' in Wyandotte, across from Wyandotte High School for the first few years of their marriage.

He worked for McDonald's as a store manager then regional supervisor over several locations.

For about 10 years he had his own business 'Video View' in Troy, MI, which included movie rentals, snacks and an ice cream counter.

He worked for Nichols Bakery for a few years as a Retail Product Salesman and drove a large delivery truck. That's when he retired from the Teamsters Union.
