Jerry retired from General Motors after 33 years. He is a proud veteran of the US Army. His favorite hobbies were Racing his pigeons and having the best lawn in the neighborhood. He also was an avid fan of NASCAR racing, watching Tiger Baseball and watching his black and white Western movies! He loved attending his grandsons choir concerts and how proud he was of them. The family has so many happy memories of Jerry. He loved watching his grandchildren and great granddaughter ride their go-kart and toy quads and as babies, taking them for rides on his John Deere tractor to which they would fall asleep after only minutes!

He will be missed dearly.

Visitation will be held Sunday, December 26, 2021 from 2:00-8:00PM at Howe-Peterson Funeral Home 9800 Telegraph Rd. Taylor, MI 48180. The Funeral Service will be held Monday, December 27, 2021 10:00AM in-state and the service will begin at 11:00AM at St. Johns Lutheran Church 13115 Telegraph Rd. Taylor, MI 48180. Jerry will be entombed at Michigan Memorial Park Cemetery following the services on Monday, December 27, 2021.
