Geraldine (Geri) Louise Paddock of Buffalo Grove IL, formerly Lincoln Park MI, passed away on Saturday, October 27, at the age of 87. Geri was a classy, quick witted lady that made friends quickly and easily because of her lovely charm and sincere interest in people. She enjoyed many activities, especially with her grandchildren, and the many family traditions and holidays celebrated with family and close friends. As a grandmother, she was always there; laughed at her grand kid's silly jokes, listened to their loud music, watched them at their special events, and hugged them regularly. She touched the lives and hearts of all who knew her with her kindness and generosity. She was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Charles Paddock, parents Roland and Lucille Larkin and siblings Donald Larkin, Gerald Larkin and Phyllis Snyder Danish. She is survived by her son Charles Paddock and wife Beverly and daughter Cynthia and son-in-law Duncan (Beau) Elzinga, along with her three grandchildren Charles Paddock, Alexandra Elzinga and Ian Elzinga. Her viewing will be Thursday November 1st 3-8pm, and Friday 10:30-11:30am, Prayers Friday 11:30am at the JL Peters Funeral Home 3880 Fort St, Lincoln Park MI (313-928-6500).
