ZURMELY (Josefiak), Geraldine passed away on January 10, 2019 at the age of 86. Beloved wife of the late Virgil. Loving mother of Dean (Karen) Zurmely, the late Lynn Zurmely, and Judy (Kenny) Chaput. Dear grandmother of Billy and Jessica Bruhn, Aaron and Caroline Zurmely, and Isabella and Sophia Chaput. Preceded in death by her dear mother Victoria Zuk and Walter Brzezinski. A graduate of Hamtramck High School, dedicated mother and Taylor community volunteer and longtime Cadillac employee.  A memorial gathering will be held from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, January 25, at the Taylor Chapel of Howe-Peterson Funeral, 9800 S. Telegraph Rd.  A memorial mass will be held on Saturday, January 26, at 11am at St. Alfred Catholic Church located at 24175 Baske St. in Taylor. A luncheon in celebration of Gerry's life will follow in her beloved Hamtramck.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to the Father Solanus Casey Center at www.solanuscenter.org .
