Gerard Maloney of Dearborn, MI passed away on April 17, 2026. He was born June 22, 1950 in Detroit, MI to Gerald and Helen Maloney.

Jerry was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He was also a devout Catholic. He worked at Ford Motor Company for 30 years.

He will be missed and remembered for his big heart, humor and wit, reliability, generosity, and his love of music and beer.

Jerry was happiest being surrounded by the people he loved.

He is survived by his wife Marilyn. His children, Brian (Chanel), Mary Beth (Dan), and Bridget. His grandchildren, Daniel, Brian, Gabriel, and Violet. His sisters, Mary, Margaret, Agnes, Theresa, Patricia, and Kathleen, and brother Joseph. He was preceded in death by his sister Anne.

Peace, Love, and Gooselake 

The funeral mass will be Saturday, April 25th, instate at 9:30 a.m. and mass will begin at 10:00 a.m. located at St. Maria Goretti Parish (formerly St. Sebastian) 3965 Merrick St. Dearborn Heights, MI 48125. Directly following the funeral mass, friends and family are welcome to gather until 3:00 p.m. at Howe-Peterson Funeral Home 22546 Michigan Ave. Dearborn, MI 48124.
