Grace Stanton of Southgate MI born November 26, 1939 to Thomas and Evelyn Dunn, peacefully passed away with her family by her side on February 9, 2019.

Loving mother of Laura.

Doting grandmother of Jeremiah, Jessica, RJ and Jennifer.

Proud great grandmother of Jeremiah II, Jacob, Brooklyn, Jocelynn, Olivia, Trevor and Adalynn.

Cherished sister of Charles.

Also survived by 13 nieces and 4 nephews.

Grace will be joining her parents, 5 sisters, 2 brothers, 3 nieces and 2 nephews in heaven.

In her younger days Grace loved spending her time in California. She was known to be a bit of a pool shark and enjoyed the rush of the Magic Mountain roller coasters.

Grace raised her grandchildren Jeremiah, Jessica, RJ and Jennifer as her own for ten plus years. Grace was known to the neighborhood kids as "Sarge" and we all knew she had the best snacks and homemade cakes around. She kept her fridge open to everyone...as long as you asked first.

There wasn't a morning in her home that didn't start with an Elvis record playing and the night always ended with A John Wayne western movie.

Grace left a special, unforgettable mark on every person that had the pleasure of meeting her and her spirit will live on through all of us.

Memorial gathering to be held Friday, February 15th, 2019, from 12:00PM to 8:00PM with a service beginning at 7:00PM at the Taylor Chapel of Howe-Peterson, 9800 Telegraph Rd.
