Gregg Stefan
July 28, 1961 - August 19, 2021

Gregg Stefan passed away unexpectedly on August 19, 2021, just a few weeks after celebrating his 60th birthday. The loving son of the late Richard and Joan Stefan, Gregg is survived by his beloved sister Lynn Stefan. He is the cherished nephew of Robert (Marge) Hunter and Virginia Stefan and is the dear cousin of James Hunter, Nancy (Kevin) Sarpolis, Alan (Louise) Stefan, and Carol Stefan (Kurt Kiley). A lifelong resident of Dearborn, Gregg graduated from Edsel Ford High School and attended Henry Ford Community College. He recently retired from the Marriott Dearborn Inn after nearly 32 years as part of their housekeeping team. Gregg was never happier than when he was watching his favorite sports teams. He was an avid fan of the Leicester City F.C. club in the Premier League and an enthusiastic supporter of all Detroit and MSU sports teams.  He recently moved to Henry Ford Village and was enjoying the many new friendships he had made there. Visitation will be Thursday, August 26th 4-8 p.m. at the Dearborn Chapel of the Howe-Peterson Funeral Home. Guests are encouraged to wear their favorite sporting team apparel as a way of  honoring Gregg's memory. Please leave an online condolence to comfort the family.
