Harvey Cook, Age 82 of Dearborn, Michigan passed away on September 29, 2021.  Beloved husband of Linda for 60 wonderful years.

Loving father of Danny, Tammy (Vaughn) Chambless, Jammy, and Kim (Dennis) Whisman, and honorary son Bill Jungling.

Proud Grandfather of Crystal (Brice) Whisman-Thomsen, Shelby Cook, Sheila Whisman, Joshua Rapley, Dennis (Madison) Whisman Jr., Justin Chambless, Hunter Cook and Great-Grandfather of Lillian Lundy, Lila Estep, Jayden Whisman and Maleah Whisman.

Harvey will be dearly missed by his surviving sister Vivian (Dick) Thorpe, Brother-in-law James "Bud" (Brenda) Mize along with his many nieces and nephews.  Harvey was predeceased in death by his 4 sisters and 5 brothers from Tennessee.

Harvey was born in Shelbyville, Tennessee. After meeting Linda at a square dance and getting married, he and his whole family worked at the Pencil and Printing company. Harvey and Linda moved to Michigan in 1964 where he worked at the Tastee Bakery. He loved to go to Flat Rock Speedway to watch his son-in-law Dennis and Grandson Dennis Jr. race figure 8's. He will be sorely missed by friends and family.

Funeral service will be Thursday, October 7th, 10:00 a.m. at the Dearborn Chapel of the Howe-Peterson Funeral Home, 22546 Michigan Ave. Visitation Wednesday 1-8 p.m. Interment Parkview Memorial Park Cemetery, Livonia, MI.
