"Steve" left this world unexpectedly on August 22, 2024 while at his home. He was born February 1966 in Fort Wayne IN and lived there through high school and early employment. During much of his adult years, he explored life in large cities, in both Texas and Michigan. He also liked to spend time with his pets, both feline and canine; enjoyed his nieces and nephews, often taking them on excursions to hockey games, Pepsi/candy/fast food runs; relaxing with his sisters and friends; and watching Sunday football games. Steve was preceded in death by his parents, Alice Strauss and Herman Strauss; and his sister Kay Strauss. Surviving are his 3 sisters, Sally Smith, Carol Strauss, and Joni Sweeney who will greatly miss his dry wit and humor.
