Beloved son of the late Hiter C. and Etta J. Coleman.  Loving brother of Fay Coleman and the late Ray V. Coleman.  Dearest father of Susie (Scott) and Jonathan (Sarah). Cherished grandfather of Estella, Angelina, Samuel, Josephina, Giovanni, Joseph, Lilyanna, Antonio, Levi, Salvatore and William.  Homer was a dedicated teacher in the Allen Park School district for 36 years upon retiring from Allen Park High School. He truly was an advocate of education, had a great love for history and traveled to many notable historic sites. Homer was a car enthusiast who could name just about any make or model car, including all of the classics and Model T's.  Amongst all, he LOVED and CHERISHED his family. Homer will be missed by family, friends and former students.
