Howard Edward Mulvin

Dec 31, 1956 — May 8, 2026

Taylor

Taylor lost one of its “good guys” Friday morning when Howard (Howie) Mulvin passed quietly at his home with his beloved wife, Denise of 47 years and pet cat Piper at his side. He was a family man in every sense of the word. He brought kindness, laughter and love to the people around him. His modesty, trustworthiness and consideration of others was an example to us all.

Howie and Denise enjoyed hosting countless holiday gatherings over the years. His presence made the gathering warmer and life a little easier. Christmas was his favorite holiday. He enjoyed watching Christmas movies, “The Christmas Story” was his favorite. He loved the decorations, especially his Christmas Story leg lamp. He found the most joy of the season in the moments he spent with the kids. Teasing and joking with them until they laughed out, “Oh Uncle Howdo”!

Howie enjoyed the simple things in life. He was a decent bowler and very accomplished at horse shoes. His life’s preference was everything purple; purple clothes, purple walls, even a purple car. The only demands he made on his family were the ones he placed on himself. Be forgiving, caring, joyful and considerate was all he asked.

We are grateful for the memories we shared, the love he gave and the way he cared for his family. He will be deeply missed but not forgotten.
