Irene Alex passed away peacefully at home on April 3, 2023.

Beloved wife of the late Frank for 58 beautiful years.

Loving Mother of Marjorie (the late Don) Szarek, Steve (the late Misty), Donna, Frank (Janice), John (Nancy), Joe, Danny and David (Stacy). Also survived by 16 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Irene was a unique woman with a strong determination and powerful personality. She stood up for what she believed in and never let anyone tell her what to do.

She was a devoted catholic and her faith played a major role in her life and the life of her family. She was the wife of a Deacon and would go to the prisons to pray with the inmates.

Her and her husband Frank were the ideal couple and had a very strong marriage. They truly enjoyed each other's company and it showed. Taking road trips together and going dancing were some of the things they enjoyed to do together.

Going to the casino was something that Irene loved to do. She also enjoyed getting together with her friends on Thursdays to play card games.

Above all, Irene loved her family. There is nothing she wouldn't do for them. She leaves behind a legacy of faith, strength and love. She will be missed by all who loved her.
