Irene Hobbs, of Taylor, passed away peacefully on October 9, 2020 at the age of 94.

Beloved wife of the late James Leonard Hobbs, who passed away in 2007.

Loving mother of Mitch and the late Michael Hobbs.

Cherished grandmother of Kelly, Tom, and many more grandchildren.

Proud great grandmother and great-great grandmother to many.

Irene loved her family with all her heart and if you had the honor to be a friend of hers, then you were treated liked family.

She loved her church, Gateway Church of Christ located in Southgate, and attended regularly up until she was no longer able to drive.

Family will be receiving guests on Tuesday, October 13 ^th from 2:00PM until 8:00PM with funeral service at 7:00PM at the Taylor Chapel of Howe-Peterson Funeral Home, 9800 Telegraph Rd. Interment at Christian Memorial Gardens West in Rochester Hills.
