Irene C. Kunasz, age 88, of Carleton, Michigan, passed away June 22, 2022.

Beloved wife of the late John Kunasz for 43 loving years.

Proud mother of Edward (Beverly) Sobieski, John C. (Victoria) Kunasz, Joann (Ron) Kunasz, Andrew (Kim) Kunasz, and the late Brian. Mother-in-law of Karen Kunasz.

Caring grandmother of Brian, Philip, Sabrina, Brandi, Lana, Samantha, Brenden, Steven, David, Christopher, and the late Gregory, and great-grandmother of Mackenzie, Damian, and Julia.

Dear sister of Patricia (the late Donald) Teal, Evelyn (the late Franklin) Morris, Theresa (the late Richard) Nyilos, and the late Leo (Judy) Sauers and Ervin (Charlene) Sauers.

Visitation will be held Monday, June 27 from 2-8PM with Moose service at 7pm at the Taylor Chapel of Howe-Peterson Funeral Home, 9800 S. Telegraph Rd, Taylor, MI 48180.

Funeral at the funeral home Tuesday, June 28 at 11AM. Interment at Mt. Hope Cemetery to follow.
