Irene Miles, age 98, of Dearborn, MI, passed away on October 10, 2018 to join Peter Miles, her husband of 57 years.

Irene was a woman of quiet faith who enjoyed caring for her home and family including her five children, Tom (Judy), Don (Carol), Elaine, Alice (Ed) and Jerry;  grandchildren Tim (Lisa), Jeff (Stephanie), Sally (Terry), Dan (Sheri), Becky (Ben), Alison, and Emily;  and great-grandchildren Andrew, Alex, Collin, Kayle, Matthew, Natalie, Madison, Tori, Anthony and Dominic.

A resident of Dearborn since 1954, Irene was a member of Sacred Heart Parish for 65 years.  She was a devout Catholic and her joy came from sharing time with family as well as neighbors and church friends.

Irene has been lovingly cared for by the staff of Beaumont Oakwood Commons Skilled Nursing Center in Dearborn, MI.

Funeral Mass, Monday, October 15, 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 22430 Michigan Ave, Dearborn, MI 48124. Prayers 10:30 a.m. at the Dearborn Chapel of the Howe-Peterson Funeral Home, 22546 Michigan Ave.  Viewing from 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Visitation Sunday 1-8 p.m. Scripture service Sunday 6:30 p.m.
