Beloved wife of the late Walter.  Loving Mother of Gloria (Mike) Fox  and the late Judith Ann Zassadney.  Dearest Grandma of Michael (Heather),  Jason, Kevin (Amanda Phillips), and Michelle (Jeff) McEwen. Loving Great Grandmother of the Late Collin, Shelby, Nolan, Zoey, Declan and Cameron Fox and Cadence McEwen. Sister-in-law of John (Pearl) Zassadney and Mary Ann Zassadney, as well as many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her Father and Mother John and Josephine Roginski, her brothers Albin and Edward, and sisters Wanda Roginski  and Dorothy Tarnacki.  Irene loved family and enjoyed being Santa Claus at Christmas making sure everyone had a gift under the tree no matter how big or small. She was an avid gardener, who loved to take care of her hundreds of roses when she was in her own home.

Visitation will be Monday, August 1, 2016 from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Dearborn Chapel of the Howe-Peterson Funeral Home, 22546 Michigan Ave.

Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at the Church of the Divine Child, 1055 North Silvery Lane. Gathering at the church at 9:30 a.m.

Interment at St. Hedwig Cemetery.
