Obituary

Jacqueline A. Larese, 88, passed away on December 14, 2016.

Beloved wife of the late Bruno Larese.

Cherished mother of James (Marilyn) Larese, Richard (Audrey) Larese and Laura (Steven) Dyas.

Loving grandmother of James, Andrea (Eric), RJ, Danny, Kristina (Jason) and Derrick.

Dearest great-grandmother of Kylie, Adeline and Adam.

Jacqueline was employed with Michigan Bell until a medical condition forced her to go out on a disability. She loved her position there and started out working swing shifts so she could parent and work.

She volunteered with the Red Cross, the Michigan Lung Association, the Ford Wives Club, Vista Maria, Sacred Heart, The Michigan Heart Association, Angela Hospice, Lennon Center, Scleroderma Foundation Michigan Chapter and Humane Society.

She was known for her generous community service and helping those in need.

She was an accomplished quilter and made quilts for various charities she volunteered for and for the University of Michigan's Children Hospital.

She loved to travel and was independent. She had no hesitation even in her 80's to drive herself from Florida to Michigan for quilt camp and to visit family or to go on a cruise.  She saw life as an adventure.

She loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren and they brought her great joy over the years.

She resided in Dearborn and raised her family there before moving to Port St. Lucie where she found an extended family of friends and community work she volunteered for in Florida.  She remained there for 18 years before returning to Michigan for the past two years to be with her children.

She is survived by her youngest brother, Richard Conflitti.

Her hobbies were quilting, sewing, cooking, she made her own pasta and entertaining.  Family was the foundation of her life.

She was married 64 years to her husband and true love of her life, Bruno Larese.  He died October 13, 2016.  Now they are once again reunited in love.

Donations can be made to the Scleroderma Foundation Michigan Chapter.
