ABBOTT, James A. January 28, 2010, age 85 Beloved husband of Norma. Dear father of Katherine Younger Ronald, Thomas Wood Jennifer, Richard Kathleen, Patrick Laura, James M. Mary Jo and the late Jeanette. Also survived by 14 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Jim was employed as a superintendant by the Detroit Free Press for 43 years. Funeral Monday 11 am from the Dearborn Chapel of the Howe-Peterson Funeral Home, 22546 Michigan Ave. Visitation Sunday 2-9 pm. howepeterson.com
