James "Captain Cabaret" Bakalis, 79, passed away peacefully in his home in South Rockwood this Sunday, November 19, 2017.

He leaves behind his loving wife, Peggy Bakalis.
Beloved father to Lori Cline (Danny), Jeane Gierschke (Doug), Scott Halhober (Kim), Tracy Kowalske, Crystal Betancourt (Leonard), Jessica Collins (Jody), and Sheree Ray
Caring grandfather to Mariah, Rachel, Brandon, Ashley, Justin, Tiffany, Noah, Elijah, Violet, Jordan, Hunter, Donnie, Darrin, Kristy, Angel, and Ariel, and great-grandfather to Grayson, Hailee, and Brooklyn.
Cherished brother of the late Bob Bakalis (Gay), and Martha Carn (Clayton).
James was treasured by an additional host of friends and family.

Visitation will be held this Saturday, November 25, 2017 at Howe-Peterson's Taylor Chapel at 9800 Telegraph from 1:00pm to 8:00pm. A special service at 6:00 PM will also be on Saturday during visitation hours.
