Beloved Husband of Lucy, for 43 years.

Loving father of the late Johnathon Hugh Roby, and Jimmie (Teri) Cornett.

Dearest Papaw of Dan (Bethany) Cornett, Tim (Leanne) Cornett, Mikayla Cornett and Great-Papaw of Lilley, Violet, Asher, Hunter and Trysten.

Precious Brother of Hattie (the late Harvey) Hurst, Alice "Jean" (Kenny) Cole, William "Bill" (Kaye) Roby, the late C.D. Roby and the late Dean Roby.

Jim graduated in 1950 from St. Mary's Catholic High School in Whitesville, Kentucky. He then entered the Army at the age of 17, he was a Veteran of the Korean War, where he served in the Third Infantry Division.  Jim was a devoted to reading his Bible and considered quite a connoisseur of B-B-Que.
