James Gary Davies passed away on June 9th, 2025 at the age of 83. Son of the late James and Elsie Davies. Loving husband of Betty Jane Davies for 54 beautiful years who fell in love when they met at Greenfield Village. Caring father of daughters Jill and Elizabeth Davies. Loving grandfather of Ali-Mohammad Chahrour (Emma Pelker). James is survived by his brother Charles and his sister Mellissa, along with his late sister Jacqueline. He was a proud graduate of Edsel Ford High School in 1959. James was a graduate of the radiology program at Henry Ford Hospital, and worked at Kamil Orthopedics as a X-ray Technician for 52 years. James loved the water and was an avid boater where he spent most of his downtime along with riding the train at Greenfield Village where he had to make multiple trips around the park.

Memorial Gathering will take place on July 19th from 10:00 a.m.-11:30 a.m. at the Dearborn Location of the Howe-Peterson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 22546 Michigan Avenue, 48124, 313-561-1500. Urn burial to take place following the gathering, at Rural Hill Cemetery, 215 W Seven Mile Rd, Northville, MI 48167 at 12:30 p.m. Private cremation entrusted to the Dearborn Location of the Howe-Peterson Funeral Home.
