James Ira Jackson's Obituary
James Jackson was a caring husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and great great grandfather. He left this world on October 3, 2021 at the age of 89.
Beloved husband of Nellie for 70 wonderful years.
Loving father of James (Kathy) Jackson, Carol (Mike) Wirt, Gail Jackson, Glenda (Greg) Howell, Paul Jackson and the late Curtis Jackson.
Proud grandfather of 11, great grandfather of 21 and great great grandfather of 2.
James will be dearly missed by his friends and family.
Visitation will be on Thursday, October 7, 2021 from 1:00PM-8:00PM and on Friday, October 8, 2021 from 11:00AM-8:00PM with the family sharing memories at 7:00PM. Service will be on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at the Taylor Chapel of Howe-Peterson Funeral Home located at 9800 Telegraph Rd. Entombment to follow at Michigan Memorial Park.
