James "Jim" M. Kunnert, age 65, passed away September 12, 2022 peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family.

Beloved husband of Sue Kunnert.
Proud father of Angelique (Matt) Hartford and Edward Respecki.
Caring grandfather of Amber (Devon) and Matthew and great-grandfather of Blair Christina.
Dear uncle of Fay (Mike), Missy (Keith), and Michael and great-uncle to many more.

James worked as a vending machine routeman and stocker for over 30 years and retired after 10 dedicated years at Modern Vending. One of Jim's pastimes was astronomy. He spent many years looking up the stars through his refracting telescope. Above all, James loved golfing and played many rounds at Woodside Meadows. When he could, he would bring along his favorite golfing partner, his grandson Matthew. He will be missed by so many who loved him dearly.

Visitation will be Saturday, September 17 from 1-6PM with a prayer service at 6PM at Howe-Peterson Funeral Home, 9800 S Telegraph Rd, Taylor MI 48180.
