James Eugene Markley, 81, passed away in Taylor, Michigan on October 1st, 2018.

Loving husband of Sheila for 28 years.
Proud father of James (Carrie) Markley, Thomas (Lisa) Markley, and Kym (Scott) Croucher.
Caring grandfather to Alexa, Liam, Fiona, Nola, Ian, and Randy.
Dear brother of Maryellen (Mike) O'Donnell.

James was a man of many facets. He stayed active by weightlifting and boxing. He enjoyed relaxing by reading everything from classics to mystery. He even dabbled in writing himself and had composed many short stories. James worked hard to provide for his family. He could be stern when he had to be but many knew him for his sense of humor and loved him greatly. He will be missed by so many.
