Scanlon, James Edward. Age 74, of Dearborn, Michigan and Clearwater, Florida. Passed away on November 10, 2011. He was born on November 9, 1937 in Detroit, Michigan to Helen Rose (nee Zielinski)and Charles Edward Scanlon. Jim attended St. Mary's Catholic Church in Monroe, Michigan, St. James in Ferndale, Michigan, Henry Ford Community College, and Eastern Michigan University. Jim served six years in the Michigan National Guard. He was a 31 year employee of Ford Motor Company. Jim enjoyed boating, fishing, and hunting. Jim is survived by daughter Cathleen (Greg) Stockton, granddaughters Carolanne and Sarah, daughter Debra (Dave) House, grandsons Nicholas and Nathaniel, son Charles and granddaughter Brianna, sister Anne (Dave) Grayewski and brother Rick (Kathy). Jim is also survived by many nieces and nephews.Funeral will be Tuesday, 11:00 am, November 15, at the Dearborn Chapel of the Howe-Peterson Funeral Home, 22546 Michigan Ave. Visitation will be Monday, November 14, from 1-9:00 pm.
