James Loyd Shepard passed away peacefully in his sleep on Tuesday, June 1, 2021 after a long battle with his health.

Loving husband to Judith Shepard for 38 wonderful years.  Beloved brother to Thomas Shepard, brother-in-law to Stan and Barbara AuBuchon and Dan and Joan Walker.  Cherished uncle to Kristopher Shepard, Jonathan AuBuchon, Suzanne Jackson, Benjamin AuBuchon, Michael Carlson, Jennifer Carlson and their children.

Jim was very active in his neighborhood association and was always there to lend a hand.  He loved sports, playing/coaching softball, fishing and being up North at his cottage.  He will be greatly missed.

There will be a memorial service for Jim at Howe-Peterson Funeral Home Dearborn Chapel located at 22546 Michigan Avenue Dearborn, MI on Saturday, July 10th, 2021. The memorial gathering will be at 2:00pm when you will be able to view pictures of Jim's life and will be followed by a service at 3:00pm. There will be a dinner after the service at Leon's Family Restaurant located at 23830 Michigan Avenue Dearborn, MI.
