James R. Slaight of Taylor, MI, passed away on September 19, 2024 at the age of 71. Beloved husband of Cheryl Slaight. Loving father of Brandy Pouliot, Ashley Slaight, Grace Slaight, William Woodliff, and Samantha Slaight. James is also survived by his beloved dog Jax.

James lived for music, and was the happiest when he was behind his drum kit. He was a hard working mechanic and he knew how to rock and roll. James loved his family more than anything and will be deeply missed.
