James Ronald Sweeney of Taylor, passed away on October 1, 2020 at the age of 91.

James was born on June 21, 1929 in Manco, Kentucky. He married Gladys Sweeney on November 30, 1950 and moved to Michigan in December of that year.

James was a strong man of faith and a very hard worker.

His faith in God guided him through his life and he considered those at church his second family.

Loving father of the late Douglas Sweeney, Ronald (Kathy) Sweeney, and Brenda Sweeney.

Devoted grandfather of Marsha West, James (Syndy) Sweeney, Kelly (Scott) Mousseau, Paul (Rae) Sweeney, and Johnathan (Lexie) Sweeney.

Cherished great-grandfather of Cody West, Rebecca West, Brandon West, Bruce Mousseau, Alexis Mousseau, Wyatt Sweeney, and Bailey Rae Sweeney.

Dearest great-great-grandfather of Lincoln West

Precious brother of Ina (Barry) Gay, Thelma Childers and the late Beulah Digiovanni, Charles Ray Sweeney, Franklin D. Sweeney, Patty Farris, Mamie Hale, William Spencer and Delmon Robert Sweeney.

The family of James would like thank Heart to Heart Hospice for the exceptional care they provided to James as well as the care and concern they showed for the entire family.
