VARGA, James, of Southgate

James L. Varga, fondly known as "Dude" sadly passed away on October 26, 2021 at the age of 74. Loving father of Nicki (Scott) Gotzfried, Angie Varga, and Andrea Varga. Devoted grandfather of Kylie and Conner Gotzfried. And Loving Grandfather of his "Fuzzy Grandkids" -  Tazwell, Annabelle, Piper, Bella and Simon.

Jim, the youngest of 4. He served for the United States Army in Vietnam at the age of 19 from 1966 - 1968. He then worked as a proud bricklayer until his retirement in 2007. When not working, Jim enjoyed muscle cars, sports, spending time with his family, and feeding his backyard birds, squirrels, and occasional raccoon. He held a love for traveling, some of his favorite places being Anna Maria Island, Washington DC, and the 3 Nicks Taproom. But he was truly happiest at home by the fire, with a captain + coke in his hand.

He is remembered for his great sense of humor, huge heart, and warm presence.
