Loving sister of Michael (Pamela), Thomas (MaryAnn), Donald, Robert (Maureen), Eric (Mary), and James (Dawn).

Beloved Aunt of Christopher (Vanessa), Kevin (Samantha), Andrea (Ryan) Fettig, Kelsey, Alex (Janna), Robert, Nicholas, Scott, Carly, James, Charlotte Griffin and Kelsey Griffin, and pre-deceased in death by her beloved nephew, William Lagerstrom.

Cherished Great Aunt of Audrey Fettig, Corbin Fettig and Gabriel Lagerstrom

Dearest daughter of the late Fred and Eleanor Lagerstrom.

Janice was well known in the community as "Jannie Annie" the professional clown who loved to make people smile. For more than two decades, she brought joy to children and adults alike as  a colorful clown who entertained at schools, birthday parties, charitable fund raisers and community events. Her most recent appearance was Sunday, May 7th, at a local Special Olympics fund raiser.

Janice was kind, caring, funny, and beautiful with or without her make-up on. She enjoyed being in the spot light but was opposed to having her picture posted on Facebook or any other social media. She was humble, deriving as much joy from every facet of life as she gave...her legacy of love and laughter will never be forgotten.

She was the glue that held the family together after the loss of her beloved parents and will be deeply missed by whose lives she touched.

Visitation will take place on Friday, May 12th, from 3 PM until 9 PM at the Dearborn Chapel of Howe-Peterson Funeral Home, 22546 Michigan Ave.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 13th, at 12 noon at Howe-Peterson. Friends and family are welcome to gather from 10 AM until 12 noon prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in her name to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
