Jean W. Hintz (Gady) passed away on June 7, 2020 at the age of 88 after a brief illness. She was the loving wife of Walter H. Hintz for 42 years until his passing in 1993. Loving mother of Walter P. (Kathleen) Hintz, Beverly (the late Robert) Teklinski, Kenneth N. (Ann) Hintz, and Robert H. (Leah) Hintz. Proud grandmother of 8 and great-grandmother of 13.

Jean loved spending time talking, playing, and mentoring her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Nothing pleased her more than being with her family. Jean also enjoyed travelling the world through her life.

Jean and the Hintz family have been faithful parishioners of Guardian Lutheran Church in Dearborn since the 1950's.

Visitation will be held at the Dearborn Chapel of Howe-Peterson Funeral Home (22546 Michigan Ave) on Wednesday, June 10 from 2-8pm. Vigil Service at 7:30pm. There will be a limit of 10 people in the chapel at one time and masks are encouraged. Interment at Glen Eden Memorial Park in Livonia.
