On September 23, 2021, Jean Sanlor passed away at the age of 77.

Beloved wife of Jerry Sr. for 58 wonderful years.

Loving mother of Jerry Jr. (Victoria) and Leanne (Jeffrey) Chesney.

Cherished grandmother of Jaquelyne, Joshua, Johnathan, Nicholas, and Jacob.

Dear sister of the late Richard Hoffman and Gordon Hoffman.

Dearest sister-in-law of Grace (Les) Rose.

Aunt of Kristin (Robert) Reynolds.

Great aunt of Adler Reynolds.

Jean was born in Detroit, Michigan to Richard and Elizabeth Hoffman on March 23, 1944.  Having grown up in Taylor, Michigan she was a Taylor Center graduate who loved reading books and shopping with family and friends.

Jean was very loving and caring to everyone she met.   She loved being a grandmother and cherished the time she got to spend with her grandchildren.

Being so energetic – Jean would keep busy cooking and baking for her family and friends.

She was a devoted and active parishioner of St. Alfred Catholic Church and proudly worked at Right To Life.

Jean will be dearly missed by her friends and family.

Visitation will be from 3:00PM until 8:00PM on Sunday, September 26, 2021 at the Taylor Chapel of Howe-Peterson Funeral Home, 9800 Telegraph Rd.

Funeral mass will begin at 9:30AM (Instate 9:00AM) on Monday, September 27, 2021 at St. Alfred Catholic Church located at 24175 Baske St., Taylor, Michigan.
