Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Joseph A. Hughes and loving daughter, Elizabeth Hawthorn. Survived by three children, Martha (Al) Russell, Joseph (Linda) Hughes, Jr., and Jim Hughes, 12 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, sister, Margaret Gibert and brother, Bert Kelso. Visitation 1-9pm Friday with wake service 7pm Friday at J.L. Peters Funeral Home, 3880 Fort, Lincoln Park (313-928-6500). Prayers Saturday 9am at the funeral home with Mass 9:30am at Christ the Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Lincoln Park.
