Jennie C. Zimnicki passed away on April 10, 2025 at the age of 95. Beloved mother of Allen (Pam) Tajak and Barbara (Ricky) Pistor. Loving grandmother of Rebecca, Joshua (Jessica), James, Caitlin (Brandon), and Steven. Cherished great grandmother of Elias and Audriana. Dearest sister of Betty (Tom) Mattis and Robert Freno. Jennie is preceded in death by her first husband Henry Tajak, her second husband Henry Zimnicki, daughter Annette, granddaughters Jillian and Jennifer, and her 6 other siblings.

Jennie had a remarkable talent for bringing people together. Her home was a hub of laughter and love, especially during the gatherings she so joyfully hosted. Summers were particularly special, as she spent cherished moments at the family cottage on Harsens Island, creating lasting memories with those she held dear.​ A passionate supporter of Detroit sports, Jennie rarely missed a game, cheering on the Tigers and the Red Wings with unwavering enthusiasm. She loved to Crochet and do crossword puzzles in her spare time. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
