Joan C. Phillips passed away on December 13, 2024 at the age of 100. Loving mother of Laurence (Ann) Meeker and the late Mark (the late Cheryl) Meeker. Proud grandmother of Amy (Robert) Riddle, Nicky Meeker (Angel Bermudez), and Suzanne Meeker. Great grandmother of Max Kurman, Antonio Estrada, Alex Estrada, Amilio Estrada, Kara and Donavon Thayer, and Adriana Gonzalez. Great great grandmother of Elias Thayer.

Joan was a determined woman. She outlived three husbands. She loved to read and spent many hours at the library. She also loved participating in ceramics classes, painting, and the family were always proud to have dozens of her paintings.

A memorial gathering will be held at the Dearborn Location of Howe-Peterson Funeral Home and Cremation Services on Sunday, January 5th, 2025
