Joann (Vila) Gentry (nee Cassidy) passed away on December 10, 2022 at the age of 84. Beloved partner of the late James Jenkins and wife of the late Robert Gentry. Loving mother of Brenda (Tina) Terrill, and Danielle Gentry. Cherished grandmother of Brailyn (Nate) Michael, Baili (Vinnie) Abate, Brenita Hall, and Bethany Sprague. Great grandmother of Jaydlyn, Arianna, Zach, Zaida, Ellie Jo, Wayne, Barney, Bryce, and Giavanna. Dearest sister of Mary Lou Luck. Loving aunt of many nieces and nephews.

Joann was very talented when it came to art. She loved to paint and was very crafty. She also did a lot of quilting. She will be deeply missed.

A Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2023 from 10:00am-12:00pm and the Memorial Service will begin at 12:00pm located at Howe-Peterson Funeral Home 9800 S Telegraph Rd. Taylor, MI 48180.
