John Beagan passed away on December 21, 2020, age 88.

Beloved husband of 60 years to the late Viola who passed away in 2014.

Loving father of Michael (Ruth), Shelley (Tommy) and Lynette (Bob).

Dear grandfather of Paul, Emily, Sarah, Jesse, Daniel, Ryan and David.

Proud great grandfather of Elliot.

John was born in Detroit and moved to Westland in 1960.

He worked for Detroit Edison for 37 years, retiring in 1994.

John loved Jesus and was a devoted member of Westland Free Methodist Church.

The rest of his days were spent at Henry Ford Village where he moved in 2019.

Public visitation for Mr. Beagan will be open to all on Sunday, December 27th 1-5 p.m. at the Dearborn Chapel of the Howe-Peterson Funeral Home.  The funeral service will be private for the family.  The family and staff will practice social distancing and expected to limit 25 individuals in the funeral home at any one time.
