Obituary

Beckham, John Alan age 62, of Dearborn, passed away in Islamorada, Florida on June 23rd. John leaves behind his three loving children, Kari Beckham- Couture( Keith) Jason Beckham( Nicole) Kelly Beckham( Jason Davenport) and six grandchildren; Ethan, Danielle, Lucas, Jacob, Christian, and Nolan. He is also survived by significant other Anne Wallace and formerly married to Deborah Arquette Beckham. John was preceded in death by his beloved parents Donna and Kenneth Beckham. A memorial service will be held for John at the Howe Peterson Funeral Home located at 22546 Michigan Avenue in Dearborn, on July 12th between the hours of 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Memorials can be made to the family. John Alan Beckham was born in Gogebic County , Michigan June 15, 1952 to Donna and Kenneth Beckham and grew up in Dearborn Michigan where he attended school and married Debbie Arquette- Beckham in 1975 and raised three children Kari, and twins Kelly and Jason. John was a master mechanic by trade in earlier years and worked for Peerless Industries ( Masco Tech) until his retirement. He possessed many talents, like competitive diving and auto mechanics, however he will be most remembered by his incredible musical gift. In the years that followed, John played in many local bands like Moose and Da Sharks, Bogart, The Mixx Bank and Sliver( to name a few). Additionally, he mentored and inspired many to play the guitar. He spent the remaining years of his life at his favorite childhood home on Vineyard Lake in Irish Hills Michigan and with his partner Anne Wallace at her home in Islamorada , Florida where he continued to perform in local bands, develop lasting friendships and play his guitar. John will be long known for his rich sense of humor and magnetic personality.
